1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
1/4 cup ice water
4 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 package cinnamon rolls
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in the ice water until the dough comes together.
Roll out the dough and fit it into a pie pan.
In another bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
Take the cinnamon rolls and cut them into quarters, then arrange them over the apple filling.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the cinnamon rolls are golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
