Yogurt Marinated Chicken

A delicious and easy recipe that enhances the flavor and tenderness of chicken with a yogurt marinade.

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and coat them well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  4. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and juices run clear.
  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
