- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let them cool on a wire rack.
- To make the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
- Once the cookies are cool, drizzle the ganache over the top.
