  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then let them cool on a wire rack.
  7. To make the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
  8. Once the cookies are cool, drizzle the ganache over the top.

Notes

  • For a festive touch, add sprinkles on top of the ganache before it sets.
