This Thai Sweet Chili Chicken made in a pressure cooker is an easy and flavorful dish that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Thai sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Add the chicken to the pressure cooker and pour the sauce over it.
  4. Seal the pressure cooker and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  5. Once done, release the pressure and remove the chicken.
  6. Mix the cornstarch with water and stir it into the sauce. Cook until thickened.
  7. Serve the chicken drizzled with the sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
