  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or sauté pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook on the grill or pan until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  5. In a small saucepan, mix cornstarch and water, then add the remaining marinade. Cook until thickened.
  6. Drizzle the thickened sauce over the cooked chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
