Stovetop Honey Lime Chicken

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, lime juice, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the chicken in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Serve with your favorite sides and drizzle with any remaining marinade.
