  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until combined.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. While baking, prepare the frosting and spread over warm cinnamon rolls.
