  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 4 ounces chicken ham, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil; knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  4. Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
  5. Spread chopped turkey bacon and chicken ham evenly over the dough.
  6. Roll tightly and slice into equal pieces.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  9. Serve warm.
