  • 2 pounds boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, spices, yogurt, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and coat well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
  3. Place the marinated chicken in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and mix with the juices in the slow cooker.
  5. Serve in pita bread with fresh vegetables and your favorite sauces.
