Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground turkey
4 slices turkey bacon
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 egg
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the patties. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add beef broth and bring to a simmer. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth, then add to the broth while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
Return the patties to the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Serve warm.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
Feel free to add mushrooms to the sauce for additional texture.
