Raspberry Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, salt, and flour; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for an hour.
  4. Once risen, roll the dough out and spread raspberries mixed with cinnamon over it.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls, placing them in a baking dish.
  6. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes, then bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Make a glaze with powdered sugar and a bit of milk, then drizzle over warm rolls.

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, add more sugar to the glaze.
  • Feel free to substitute blueberries for raspberries.
