  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and milk, and stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  5. Spread the softened butter, followed by a sprinkle of cinnamon and brown sugar on the dough.
  6. Distribute the raspberries evenly over the surface.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rounds.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute fresh raspberries with frozen, just make sure to thaw and drain excess juice.
  • For a glaze, mix powdered sugar with a bit of milk and drizzle over the rolls.
