Pioneer Woman Lasagna

A delicious and unique twist on traditional lasagna, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a flavorful experience.

  • 9 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, turkey bacon, ground turkey, and mozzarella.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with marinara and mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • For extra flavor, add more spices to the ricotta mixture.
