Philly Cheesesteak Bowls

This Philly Cheesesteak Bowl recipe is a delicious and easy way to enjoy the classic flavors of a cheesesteak in a comforting bowl form.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until they’re tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side and add the sliced beef, cooking until browned.
  5. Stir in garlic powder and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Split cooked rice into bowls and top with the beef and vegetable mixture.
  7. Place a slice of provolone cheese over each bowl and let it melt.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños.
