  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it’s browned, then drain the fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, maple syrup, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage and pour the pancake mixture over the top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
