1 pound breakfast sausage
2 cups pancake mix
2 cups milk
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it’s browned, then drain the fat.
In a large bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, maple syrup, baking powder, and salt.
In a greased baking dish, layer the cooked sausage and pour the pancake mixture over the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with additional maple syrup on top.
