  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and beef broth, bringing to a boil.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles and Italian seasoning, cooking until noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in ricotta and half of the mozzarella until melted and creamy.
