Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
