Million Dollar Italian Lasagna

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 12 oz lasagna noodles
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer cooked noodles, cheese mixture, meat mixture, and marinara sauce; repeat layers.
  6. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

  • Let the lasagna sit for at least 15 minutes before slicing for easier serving.
