  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into a loaf shape.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
  5. While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the mashed potatoes.
  6. Once the meatloaf is cooked, remove from the oven and top with shredded cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the meat mixture.
  • Leftover meatloaf can be used in sandwiches the next day.
