- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Add milk slowly, whisking continuously until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted.
- Combine macaroni, chicken ham, and half of the bacon in a baking dish.
- Pour cheese sauce over the macaroni mixture, stirring to combine. Top with remaining bacon.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
- Feel free to substitute any vegetables you like, such as peas or broccoli.
