- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Salt to taste
