Japanese BBQ Fried Rice

A delicious and easy recipe for Japanese BBQ Fried Rice using turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  2. Add the onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken ham and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger.
  5. Push the rice to one side and add the beaten egg, scrambling until cooked.
  6. Mix everything together and add the green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more vegetables such as peas or bell peppers.
