  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add chicken breasts, season with salt, pepper, and thyme, cooking until golden brown.
  4. Pour in Irish whiskey, scraping the bottom to deglaze the pan.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Mix in the chopped turkey bacon and cook until the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot over pasta or rice.
