Homemade Egg Rolls

  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine turkey bacon, chicken ham, green onions, cabbage, garlic powder, and soy sauce.
  2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and place a heaping spoonful of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold the side corners inward and roll tightly to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  5. Carefully add the egg rolls to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, substitute turkey bacon with mushrooms.
  • Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
