  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and add the granulated sugar. Mix well until combined.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts if using.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
