Crock Pot Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and then chop it.
  2. In a crock pot, add the chicken, chopped turkey bacon, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, and Cajun seasoning.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the penne pasta and cheese.
  6. Stir until the pasta is cooked and everything is well combined.
