  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground turkey, onion, and bell pepper; cook until turkey is browned.
  3. Transfer cooked mixture to a Crock Pot.
  4. Add macaroni, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and spices to the Crock Pot.
  5. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  7. Before serving, crumble the cooked turkey bacon over the top.

Notes
