Ingredients

  • 10 sheets rice paper
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak rice paper sheets in warm water for about 10 seconds until pliable.
  2. Combine cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, cilantro, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling onto the center of each rice paper sheet.
  4. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to form dumplings.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry dumplings until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked shrimp or tofu to the filling.
  • Serve with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
