Crispy Pretzel Crusted Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place the crushed pretzels.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, then into the eggs, and finally coat with pretzels.
  6. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs to the pretzel crust.
