1 pound ground beef
1 pound lasagna noodles
3 cups marinara sauce
2 cups ricotta cheese
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
To assemble, spread a layer of beef sauce in a baking dish, then layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and repeat until all ingredients are used.
Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with vegetables or lentils.
