  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
