Chocolate Caramel Waffle Cones

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Heat a waffle cone maker and pour in the batter according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Cook until the cones are crispy and golden brown.
  6. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce inside the cones and fill with chocolate chips.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle some sea salt on top of the caramel.
