Chicken Cabbage Stir-Fry

A quick and healthy chicken cabbage stir-fry that’s perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken breast and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the cabbage and soy sauce, stirring until the cabbage is wilted.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch, water, and rice vinegar. Add to the skillet, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes for heat.
