  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, vanilla, egg, flour, cinnamon, and salt; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes, then let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, and spread caramel sauce and diced apples on top.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle extra caramel sauce on top before serving.

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the dough.
