  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce

  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain fat.
  4. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce.
  6. Layer 4 sheets of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  7. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the ground beef and 1 cup of mozzarella.
  8. Repeat the layering process, ending with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes; let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
