Best Homemade Lasagna

A delicious and unique twist on traditional lasagna featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground turkey with the diced turkey bacon and chicken ham until browned.
  4. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning to the meat mixture; stir well.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat mixture, followed by layers of noodles, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic and onion to the meat mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute other meats or vegetables.
