- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (for icing)
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt on top.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese for icing and drizzle over cooled rolls.
