  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before glazing or serving.
