  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and sauté until soft.
  4. In a baking dish, place the pork tenderloin and cover with apple cider, cooked onions, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Top with crispy turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Serve with roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar to taste.
