  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into patties and place them in a baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, heat beef broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the boiling broth until thickened.
  6. Pour the thickened broth over the patties and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. In the last 10 minutes, top with mashed potatoes and cheese, then return to the oven until cheese is melted.
